Évian
Cafun.
More than twenty years of electronic music practice and an earlier moving-image archive now feed Sharkbeams Culture through original sound, field listening, camera and site-responsive direction.

Sound and camera are ways of reading a place.
Évian's background in house, techno, DJ performance and broadcast now feeds a broader practice: original composition, field material, processed sound, spatial listening, live electronic performance and moving image.
Within Sharkbeams, sound can expose scale, distance, rhythm and enclosure. The camera can hold a site still as evidence or disturb the frame through proximity, obstruction, reflection and unstable perspective.
Sound
Listen for reverberation, ambient systems, human movement, leakage and acoustic boundaries; build original sonic material from the site's tension.
Moving image
Use camera as witness or intervention. Earlier moving-image instincts now inform a formal Sharkbeams camera grammar.
Direction / score
Shape the relationship between site, Yuuki's response, sound, audience position, camera, documentation and production.
DJing and electronic music
Long-form practice across house, techno and adjacent electronic music.
Earlier moving-image practice
Fragmented framing, bodily proximity, environmental interruption, colour distortion and unstable perspective developed in work predating Sharkbeams Culture.
