Évian + Yuuki + Site.
Évian works through sound, moving image, electronic performance and direction. Yuuki works through image, painting, body and physical response. The site is not a container for those practices. It is the third active force.
Architecture, acoustics, light, human movement, material, time and existing atmosphere determine what the work becomes.

Sharkbeams is commissioned as a cultural practice, not booked as a fixed touring show. Each project begins with the specific environment and develops an original response through sound, image, body, moving image and spatial performance.
Depending on the brief, a commission may create a distinctive guest or visitor experience, activate an architectural environment, establish a new cultural moment for a destination, or produce a documented work with a life beyond the presentation itself.

Site Read
Observe before intervening. Film, record, map and write what the place is already doing.

Identify the contradiction or question already present in the site.

Translate the question into conditions linking sound, body, image, camera, audience and architecture.

Let the score encounter reality. Improvisation remains a response, not an escape from structure.

Afterimage
Return to the place and document what changed physically, perceptually and behaviourally.

Osaka Study 001 and Nara Study 002 are planned as the first physical proof of the method across deliberately contrasting conditions. They are research works in development, not completed commissions.
